Our Outreach Ministries at Trinity revolve around our weekly Soup Kitchen. We serve a hot meal every Tuesday between 12 noon and 1:00 p.m., with volunteers from the church preparing and serving the soup, rolls, dessert pies and sodas.

We keep a register of attendees, with their children’s names and ages, which we update each year. This enables us to give age-appropriate Christmas gifts to the children and we give the adults a gift bag filled with toiletries.

At the end of the summer we have a back-to-school event at which we distribute backpacks filled with school supplies (last year we gave almost 200).

We have a family we assist regularly -- the mother is blind and a partial amputee, the father is absent, and the two youngest children live with her in a rented apartment. We help with food supplies, school uniforms and clothing, and payment of utilities. We offer assistance to other persons as opportunity and funds permit.
